Vickie specializes in pain management, mental health wellness, and digestive disorders. She studied at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, completing internships treating the elderly in a hospice environment and stroke patients in a neurological rehabilitation center. Her family has roots in San Francisco, and operates one of the oldest herb shops in Chinatown. She grew up immersed in the culture of Chinese herbs and attributes her interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine to the healing she witnessed in this environment. She is proud to apply her knowledge and skills to assist the community in healing through Chinese medicine.
Joyce specializes in pain management, women’s health, and internal medicine. She graduated from Five Branches University in San Jose with a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She began interning at Integrative Sports Medicine Center in 2008, primarily working with neurology and sports medicine patients. She also assisted the clinic’s founder, Frank He, L.Ac., DAOM, with his book Muscle Channel Technique. She spent many years working closely with clinic staff, supervisors, and patients at the Five Branches University Clinic. Joyce was born into a TCM family and naturally developed a fervent passion for health and well-being. She believes that a great doctor takes on others’ worries as their own.
Henry specialties in pain management, allergies, anxiety, stress, and sleep disorders. He completed his Doctorate degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at ACTCM in San Francisco. He is also a nationally certified NCCAOM Diplomate of Acupuncture. Rooted in the ancient wisdom of Chinese medicine, Henry's practice focuses on restoring balance and vitality to his patients' lives. He believes in the interconnectedness of body, mind, and soul, and seeks to address the root causes of health issues.
Lykos specializes in pain management, including acute and chronic symptoms, post-surgical recovery, stress management, sleep and digestion disorders. He received his Master’s degree in TCM from Five Branches University in San Jose where he has worked as a student advisor and teaching assistant. Growing up, Lykos was exposed to TCM theory, acupuncture, and herbal medicine in his parents’ TCM clinic in Taiwan; this motivated him to later pursue TCM as a career. He believes that life should be a balance of the five elements (WuXing) and that mental health is just as important as physical health.
Saya specializes in fertility, women’s health, and chronic pain management. She received her degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in San Jose, where she spent many years working closely with clinic staff, supervisors, and patients. Saya is also expected to receive her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2023. Before becoming a TCM practitioner, Saya was a nurse and received her Master’s degree in Health Care Management. She strongly believes that TCM can improve inner wellness and achieve the ultimate balance of body.
Songsong specializes in pain management, women’s health, digestive disorders, and stress. She studied at Xinglin College of Liaoning Traditional Chinese Medicine University in China, and received her Master’s degree in TCM from Five Branches University in San Jose. In addition to being a licensed acupuncturist in California, she is also nationally certified in Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM. She has been a teaching assistant at Five Branches University since 2015.
Katarina specializes in pain management, stress management, and sleep and digestive disorders. She completed her Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at ACTCM in San Francisco. She is also a nationally certified NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. She believes that each person is unique; therefore, treatment plans should be individualized to the person. With her background in Naturopathic Medicine and a passion for TCM, she will work alongside you to achieve your health goals.
