Small seeds of the Vaccaria plant are placed on specific points of the ear and held in place with clear or flesh-toned adhesive tape to provide stimulation to these points over a longer period of time. The seeds may kept on the ear for a few days up to two weeks. Ear seeds may be used instead of or in conjunction with acupuncture and other modalities.
